点评：Fantastic experience with the Alpacas. David and Caroline so very welcoming and shared their enthusiasm and experience with these beautiful animals. I personally found the history of the alpacas enthralling, where they originated from in the high plains of the Andes, also with explanations of their of their wool, how it’s different to sheep’s wool, their diet, their “love” for their siblings etc. It’s certainly not a turn up, here is the lead and off we go on our walk! A thorough Health and Safety talk, explanation of the “lead”, a small talk about the “safety” of the Alpaca, no sudden moves, no loud noises, just careful and slowly! The walk was at a leisurely pace with a stop halfway for the alpacas and for David to take photographs of us all. We were very fortunate with the weather which was blue skies and sunshine! Of course the scenery in this part of Northumberland is stunning, like the rest of the County.
An absolutely enjoyable time with myself and two grandchildren aged 11 and 8.
