Exceptional pre-booked transportation from Fira to Oia in Santorini

点评：You’ve read the horror stories about bucolic Santorini… crowded, chaotic, and stressful along with beautiful and historic. Well, pre-book your transportation from Fira to Oia and return to avoid alllll that stress.
Only 24 hours prior, I got cold feet. We had planned to be early off our cruise ship (Voyager of the Seas) and take our chances with securing a taxi — any taxi. I found Santorini Pickups and reached out. Within a few minutes, I received a response and confirmed roundtrip transportation to Oia from Fira. Super easy process and we customized our request — no formal tour and 4-5 hours total. I was so glad to have pre-booked with Santorini Pickups.
We arrived at old port on one of the first tenders from ship to Fira and took the cable car to top. From there, we made our way to McDonald’s for pickup. We waited only a few minutes for our superb driver George to arrive at about 8 am. What a gift! He knew picturesque points of interest and stopped briefly for us to get photos. He shared facts and history with us. We arranged to meet up at 1 pm to return to Fira.
George was so good that we regret not doing a more formal tour with him. Of course we didn’t know we’d get him. Based on reviews, sounds like everyone with this company is great.
We are super picky about transportation due to previously poor experiences. George was prompt and helpful. He was right on time. Van was clean. Highly recommend.
