点评：My son and I were visiting Ireland from the U.S. as part as his graduation trip that I saved for years for! We didn’t want to take home trinkets or meaningless souvenirs. We wanted to take home a real piece of Ireland and culture while supporting Irish economy.
My son really wanted a traditional wool vest and shirt to match his Irish cap.. I wasn’t sure exactly of how the vest was supposed to fit him so we asked Rosie at the Kenmare Weavers of Ireland to help us.
She was absolutely delightful! She was patient with us and helped him find the perfect fit. She was pleasant and kind and everything I had hoped the Irish people would be. Earlier in our trip, we had some not so nice experiences, but Rosie made up for all of it!
The products at the store were all beautiful and although expensive, worth every bit for the finely crafted woolen items coming from the traditional, Aran islands. I even had an online voucher that Rosie helped me use.
We originally went in the store to find some beautiful sweaters, but left with so much more, including knowledge about the local town and where to eat,
Even one of the other shoppers chimed in who was on holiday from the eastern side of Ireland to offer suggestions for our trip.
We spent so much time with Rosie that we closed out the store with her and she never made us feel rushed at all (we didn’t even realize she was closing until we started talking about dinner). If you spend over €100, free shipping is included if you want to ship your items home and not have to take them on the airplane. That is what we did and we received our items as soon as we got back to the states.
In any case, we are so happy with the quality of our products and the whole experience was truly wonderful. Thank you, Rosie! You now have at least 2 friends in the US if you ever want to visit.♥️🇺🇸🍀
