点评：We have just returned from APT' 15 day, Kimberley Complete Tour. To say it was an amazing wilderness adventure is an understatement. We loved the whole experience. There were 22 of us onboard the air conditioned 4wd bus, which was very comfortable. Our driver/ guide, Basil was a careful and excellent driver and his knowledge of the Kimberley and it's history and people, which he gave us was great. APT's wilderness lodges were stunning and it was great to finish the long days with a bit of luxury. The 3 course , chef prepared meals at the lodges were wonderful. Cable beach resort before and after was nice and the only accomodation and food which was sub standard was at Drysdale River Lodge. I had to cut the Barramundi lunch with a steak knife and it had been kept warm for a long time.
Do not take the fitness level required for this trip lightly.
We are quite fit in our mid 60's and 70 respectively. We hike a lot, all over the world and a couple of these were quite challenging, 3 point of contact hikes to get into the gorges. The hikes are graded, so please read the itinerary. A lot of people in our group did not appear to be hiking fit for the challenge required, did not have the correct clothing or footwear and did not drink sufficient water. The outback Kimberley is a wild and stunning place, so don't expect a cruise style, 5 star experience. This beats a small group camping trip hands down, to be able to have everything except alcohol included and tbe comfort of ensuited accomodation everywhere.
Absolutely worth every dollar - just go.
