点评：The most amazing trip going from Nairobi to Cape Town. The best section was Nairobi to Victoria Falls. The scenery and animal encounters were more than I ever expected. Lions and cubs just a few feet away, a family of elephants walking past the truck and the vastness of Victoria Falls.
Expect long days on the truck, which is noisy and realise you are with the same people 24/7 for many days. The camping is basic with your own camping mat and a cooking rota is set up where you have to help shop and take turns in cooking. The budget for food is not huge but all the meals were tasty.
Most of the time the windows on the truck were rolled up and we could kneel on the seats and look out.
The people we passed were fascinating, seeing people selling goods at the side of the road or the crowds in Zanzibar.
All the activities were brilliant. A village walk or rafting the Zambezi, learning about spices and having an evening cruise. All activities are organised, you just have to put your name down.
Lastly the crew of the truck, Alex and Often were so kind. They always asked if I was ok and helped with any questions. They were also funny even at 5am!
