Great Place to visit if you are staying in the Guanacaste Province.

点评：We visited the waterfalls on site as well as the hot springs/mud bath. We also had lunch on site with the Combo Lunch + Rio Negro Hot Springs package. The trails to both waterfalls are well maintained and easy to access. Both are doable for novice hikers like myself and are beautiful in the end. We swam in the Oropendola waterfall. You do have to go up and then down a hanging staircase. It is very sturdy and stable. I am afraid of heights and I made it! The lunch was authentic and yummy. It included a buffet with dessert and water/juice. You can purchase alcohol for an additional cost. The service was good and restaurant had clean restrooms and a local band playing music.
The hot springs were nice but some were very hot. They are on two sides of a river and you need to cross using a high hanging bridge. Again me who doesn't like heights at all made it across. We were able to rinse off the mud in the river. Water shoes are necessary as the river is very slippery. Overall this was a nice outing if you are staying in the Guanacaste area. Has all the things we did plus a lot more. Knowing we were going onto Montverde and La Fortuna we would have skipped these hot springs and mud bath since we would be in more in La Fortuna.
