Braw Scottish Tours的点评
点评：We just completed a 12 day tour with Braw Scottish Tours - picking us up in Edinburgh and traveling to Pitlochry, Inverness, Portree, Oban and Glasgow with many stops along the way. This was the first time we utilized a driver/guide for an extended tour, given that we had little knowledge of what Scotland had to offer and wanted to not conquer driving on the left side of one track roads. Braw did not disappoint from the advanced planning and customization with Deborah, the logistical arrangements by the team, and the professional and pleasurable guiding by James. We made our own hotel and dinner reservations and left Braw to the rest.
James proved to be a joy to tour with and allowed us time to learn more about the Scottish people by getting to know him. His attention to customer service was beyond reproach, going the extra mile to provide us with an epic journey. We do miss him. As to the highlights, there are too many. We enjoyed the variety, from the scenic locations and hikes (Old Man of Storr, Fairy Pools, Three Sisters, Fairy Glen, etc.) to the castle and distillery visits, to boat and ferry trips, to visiting small towns & villages, to encountering wildlife (Reindeer, Seals, Birds, Hairy Coos, etc.) and to seeing historical sights (Culloden Battle Field, Wallace Monument, Clava Cairns, etc.). Having recently become obsessed with Outlander, James pointed out filming locations we were visiting. We were fortunate that we had great weather most of the trip, but did get a taste of rain and midges of the real Scotland. We left with a vivid image of James running to provide us with umbrellas after we disembarked from a boat trip on Lake Coriusk.
We highly recommend Braw Scottish Tours.
