Great (Braw!) trip in Scotland!

点评：Braw’s excellent drivers took us on tours around Edinb’ra, Glasgow, and then got us back to EDI for our flights home. Besides the wonderfully comfortable and efficient Mercedes vans, and the convenience of being delivered directly to sites of interest, each driver was a thoroughly knowledgeable and skilled guide, and a pleasure to spend the day with.
Maurice showed us amazing and significant places in the Edinb’ra area, but also shared an impressive knowledge of Scottish history and culture. Maurice helped us make decisions about how to maximize our time in Scotland.
We had two great days in and around Glasgow and western Scotland with James! Despite a sudden change in our itinerary, James adapted gracefully and made the second day delightful. James was a huge help to us all through a surprisingly rainy day. 🙂. He was especially fun to travel with, and I’m sure we will stay in touch.
We had planned a one-day trip to Islay, with a prepaid Braw guide and appointments at distilleries. Unfortunately our already delayed flight from Glasgow was suddenly cancelled, so our entire day’s plans were lost. We expect to recoup airline costs, but will have to apply to trip insurance for any compensation for the considerable for that day.
Prior to our travel, Leah and staff were a pleasure to work with refining our itinerary. We feel fortunate to have found this company and will definitely work with them again.
