点评：Weirdest business model I’ve come across!
Unlike soft plays at home where you pay to get in for the day, you are limited to paying per hour. I paid a HIGH cost price for a 2 hour slot, which I was happy to do so, as it was a day out and I understand costs of running these places. I booked 10 am to 12 pm to allow us to then use the soft play cafe for lunch after. Children had a good time playing, Office staff were extremely sour faced, But the staff out on the equipment were lovely and helpful. 12 pm came, The kids came out of soft play for lunch and we went to the cafe. I was asked what our timeslot was and explained 10 till 12, in which they replied, you’ve missed your timeslot for lunch. I assumed the timeslot was playing time, not the time that you were allowed in the building. (I completely understand if the place was extremely busy, but it wasn’t even a quarter full) and I mean, who’s going to have lunch at 10 am? She said I would need to pay for another hours play time to be able to get lunch there which would be £29. Plus the cost of lunch. So essentially, it was gonna be a £60/70 lunch for three nasty meals. Needless to say, They lost out on me spending my money in their café and I took business elsewhere. Greedy or stupid, I’m not sure which.
