点评:The geographical location and children activities had us hoping we’d found our “go to” weekend getaway for years to come, unfortunately aside the excellent facilities for children, this hotel lacks any notion of customer service and we were left feeling short changed.
The room is decent, smaller than it looked on pictures but clean and modern. Staff were responsive when the babycot was missing and offered to help us carry our bags. However, the surroundings are very noisy so when windows are open you can hear neighbors, kids screaming etc. Something we kind of expected for a family resort and something we could have lived with if everything else was spotless.
However, the restaurant experience is where we feel a lot of improvements can be made.
When you come down for dinner, staff almost jump on you if you even come close to touching the buffet because you have to pay first. This is all very odd considering we are staying at the hotel and wearing bracelets to indicate that. Queues at the single cash register in the restaurant are long, and the staff really emphasize all the “rules”. For example: if you take the all you can eat, you can only have 1 dessert per person, one hot beverage etc. This actually becomes a lauging/talking point amongst the guests and we are left wondering whether the staff are under very strict guidelines.
The buffet itself is definitely not worth the 49chf/39chf depending on the night per person. Its similar quality to the food of a staff canteen.
Breakfast is a similar ordeal, with a few strange rules (only 2 hot drinks per person) and a real feeling that you are constantly being watched by staff. You also have to clean up your own tables (again, feels like a canteen).
Breakfast quality is average.
Overall, we felt that it was not worth the chf300+ per night for the room and definitely not worth the chf49+ per person for the buffet.
The staff needs to work on making guests feel welcomed, not like they are at school and constantly at risk of being told off by the teachers (again laughing point amongst guests).
This hotel has huge potential but the catering experience needs a complete revamp of the concept or a serious price reduction. We would also have liked to see more flexible hours on the activites and not having to dig in our pocket even more for each of them.
