Entitled staff and double standards

点评：Came with 10 children as a birthday party accompanying a friend to support. I arrived with 3 take out coffee’s for the parents who where taking care of the children and was told to stand outside the complex and drink them when we had 10 children to ensure were safe.
Following on from this they confiscated the coffee’s to behind the work desk to be collected after an hour of being with the children. I asked if we could reheat them they said no, I explained they were for the parents yet was told they were a scalding risk even though they are selling coffee at the exact same temperature. They said there was a no outdoor food policy yet I seen a range of birthday cakes from bakeries and party bags including sweets throughout the establishment. As well as other parents with drinks from surrounding coffee shops. See attached image.
One of the parents then went to accompany a three year old child on the trampoline standing at the edge watching her and was told to go back to the seating area for inappropriate foot wear or to buy another pair of socks she explained I am not on the trampoline and just standing on the edge of the play area, she was then further questioned based on had she paid and had her wristband been marked. Bearing in mind this was 15 mins before the session ended and they had multiple parties of older children around.
After paying over £100 to the company we felt that the staff were entitled and lacked understanding. We have no understanding of why we as a group of women with 10 children were met with such arrogance or possibly it was due to the fact I didn’t myself have children. Either way it has left us with a rather sour taste to a happy occasion and we won’t be back.
