Coffs Harbour Butterfly House的点评
点评：We visited the Butterfly House expecting to see a large array of butterflies, how disappointing that the few that were out were mostly on/near the roof. Despite the lack of butterflies we were fortunate to have an Entomologist on site and he was awesome to chat with - providing us with the history of many species, life cycle, what plants butterflies thrive on or are actually bad for them, his involvement in restoring local environments to improve habitat for Butterflies and other insect species.
The rest of the park was nice enough to walk around and we visited the dinosaur themed area and maze. The cafe was open, we looked around as it is decorated in fantasy theme (which seems to be spilling into the butterfly glasshouse) however we did not eat here.
Having visited other Butterfly Houses in Northern Queensland and been surrounded by hundreds of butterflies this was disappointing for the price paid.
