Walk Wild Scotland的点评
点评：I have been to the Inner Hebrides with „Walk Wild Scotland“ and it was just great!
The tour was very varied and well organised with a perfectly balanced mixture of driving/hiking and culture/nature.
As we were a small group, it took me only a few hours to feel totally at ease. We came to know each other very quickly and there was a general good understanding and sympathy…at least, that’s how I felt it. I thoroughly enjoyed the many conversations and laughters we had together, be it on our hikes or in the evening during dinner.
Our accomodations were ever so beautiful and charming, each of the three in their own way and without second thought I could have stayed in each of them for a whole week.
In Druimnacroish, on the isle of Mull, Margriet bade us a very warm welcome! It is a romantic cottage, furnished with love for detail and cheerful paintwork inside. We had the whole house to ourselves, which made me feel really at home in this harbour of calm!
On Iona, the lovely Argyll Hotel is a little jewel that overlooks a gorgeous white beach. Its quaint, charming rooms were very cozy and I felt absolutely comfy!
Melfort Hotel was more lush but just as charming and cozy as the previous two. It takes only a five minutes walk from the hotel to the beach…if you manage to leave behind Dougal and his two friends, three magnificent highland cows that are peacefully grazing in the hotel‘s meadow. To me, at the end of our journey, those hairy beauties were three more unexpected cherries on an already copiously garnished cake.
Last, but certainly not least, Antje did a brilliant job! She is a warmhearted, friendly and openminded woman with a great sense of humour and a very serene, reliable and responsible guide to boot. At any moment of the tour, I felt in good hands and perfectly informed and it was very easy for me to completely settle back and relax.
