Quaint fishing village that does not age
Polperro Harbour and Headlands Walk的点评
点评：Polperro is one of those picturesque Cornish fishing villages that time seems to standstill.
Little has changed in terms of the village since my early visits over five decades ago. The boats have changed from the old trawlers to the more modern ships of today and maybe not as busy either.
Lots of places to wander and explore. The Smugglers Museum, Shell House and old Police station. The Model Village as well.
Typical narrow cobbled streets of these old fishing villages. As you walk around you get great views of the harbour.
Plenty of places to eat, pubs, cafes and restaurants, souvenir shops and art galleries so lots to do and see.
Polperro in now geared for tourists and a lot of things are expensive, but there are bargins to be had if you are willing to browse a while.
There is also a small beach beyond the harbour wall.
