Cueva Ventana的点评
点评：Without question, a lot of care went into ensuring that visitors got the most out of this relatively short tour, with a strong emphasis on both the flora and fauna (mainly bats) that occupy this interesting place and the need for tourism to have a neutral impact on nature. En route, you see roosting bats; are introduced to the native plants and pre-columbian petroglyphs are revealed. Of course, there is the ventana itself, which is beautiful, along with an unexpected optical illusion seen only in photographs.
If I say that there wasn't anything highly unique about Cueva Ventana, that isn't a criticism, as such, only a caution that those who, like us, have travelled extensively throughout their adult life might be a little underwhelmed by what is mostly an aggregation of medium-interest elements. The emphasis on safety also seemed somewhat overplayed but, hey, this is America and no-one wants to be sued if a visitor gets a grazed knee!
Take note that the meeting place is wrongly identified as KM57. It is, in fact, located at KM58.8 where there is a Texaco garage. Why this has not been corrected is beyond my understanding.
