点评：We had booked a tent campsite for the second week in August. Reading some of the reviews on this site, made us a little skeptical but we went ahead with our reservation. We are so happy that we did not listen to the negative naysayers on these reviews because our experience was amazing! This whole campground is so beautiful and the workers seem very friendly and helpful. The campsites were not as close together as some of the reviewers made it seem. The layout was your typical average campground with plenty of space between the sites (we had a very large 12-person tent and it fit just fine) . The gazebo was perfect for us to charge our phones and use the Wi-Fi (yes it was a bit spotty at times, but what do you expect when you are in the mountains). The shower house and bathrooms were the typical campground shower house and bathrooms... Nothing fancy but all a person needs is something basic and clean. Our campsite was number 18, the one closest to the river and the views were breathtaking. It was peaceful drifting off to sleep at night with the sound of the river helping you relax (and an occasional elk bugling in the distance. It is also worth mentioning: A couple days of the week they do a thorough power wash of the hot springs pools so there is sound of the power washer. To drown out that sound, just put in a set of earphones and listen to a podcast) . Speaking of elk, they loved the campground as much as we did as they were there every night grazing on the lush grass by the campground office and bathrooms. If you don't bother them, they don't bother you- just use your common sense. We also used the hot springs one of the nights that we were there and that place was so relaxing it felt like an expensive Day spa- it looked like it was right out of the brochure! I would rate this whole place an 11 out of 10 if I could. The only issue that we had with this place is we didn't stay long enough.
