Loch Lomond Bird Of Prey Centre的点评
点评：Wow, what an amazing place. It is in a small and unassuming location, but the birds are well cared for. We could tell right away who the caretaker was, because as soon as he walked by all the birds were chirping at him, trying to get his attention. They clearly love their handler & he loves them. We did one of the flight experiences and stayed for the afternoon flight demo/show. So interesting, and what they have going on there is so very important. Put it on your must see and do list if you are anywhere in the vicinity.
We were staying at one of the Cameron House Lodges, so it was a nice easy walk to get to there. We had to use a map app because Scotland apparently doesn’t believe in signage lol, so be prepared for that!
We “found” this place from the Cameron House website, as it was listed as one of their activities. But it is its own place, so find their direct website for the most accurate and detailed info.
As a funny side note….I traveled all the way from Cape Coral, Florida….home to the largest population of burrowing owls this side of the Mississippi….just to find a burrowing owl housed at this center. Haha, small world lol.
