点评:We visited Left Foot Charley on a Friday afternoon at 4:30 in early September. The patio was beautiful, the wine was good, and they had live music- great. Except it wasn’t. There was a service/staff issue that tainted our experience.
The young woman behind the bar greeted us, sat us on the patio and gave us menus then went back inside. We sat there for about 10 minutes or so and watched 2 other tables get seated and get water. One of the tables had a young man as their server and he was very enthusiastic, engaging and knowledgeable. We listened while he asked the couple questions, suggested different wines and helped them make choices for their wine flight. Having felt like we might have been forgotten, I went back inside and just made a sad face to the woman that had seated us. She seemed frustrated and stated that she was not working outside and someone would be with us soon. Ok, great.
A different woman came to our table and literally said, “What do you want?”. Wow, ok, she was clearly not happy. Maybe she was upset with the woman behind the bar. Maybe there was confusion on who was to take our table and she felt like she got stuck with us, who knows. But customer service people should not take it out on the customer. I went overboard after that with please and thank you.She was very short with us but was chatty with the table next to us. Meanwhile, the male server continued to be great.Management needs to know that such different service levels does not feel good.
