Quite a detour from the A9, but well worth making the trip

点评：We found this as a wee detour when travelling between the central belt and Inverness, and figured it was a good place to burn out two small kids before a long journey up the A9. It was a wee bit of a trek to get too, and I had remarked as we drove through country lanes "it's going to have to be good if folk are travelling this distance to get here!". I wasn't wrong on that part. Particularly when we arrived and realised to our horror that an error on our part meant we'd booked the wrong date. The session was advertised as full, but we were extremely grateful that the staff member was able to let us in.
It was pouring with rain, but did the inside part first. The indoor frame is vast, and for a 4 year old and a 2 year old kept their interest for the 90 mins the session lasts for. Good separation for the under 3's and the bigger kids, and a nice touch that the smaller ones are welcome to go in the bigger area with older siblings. Staff kept a watchful eye on proceedings, without being over bearing. Plenty of nooks and crannies to explore for all ages, the area was spotless and well maintained. Frame didn't feel overcrowded either, so numbers are well managed.
Lunch was basic, but done well and a reasonable price, good selection of cakes and drinks too. Cafe area had plenty seating, and tables were kept clear throughout.
The rain eased enough to let us explore the fantastic outdoor play area, and an impressive variety of different areas kept us far longer than we'd meant to. Two shattered kids, (and a shattered Dad from multiple laps of the go kart track with both) piled into the car a few hours later. Definitely worth a detour.
