点评:My wife booked via Trip.com on her name with my creditcard. Everything was approved and confirmed. On pickup the guy refused to give te car because of the difference in the name.
The guy from Thai Rent a Car adviced to cancel it! He also said if we would cancel we would have to pay a cancellation fee and we could never book a car directly because Thai Rent A Car only does booking for the next day. So why on earth advice a cancellation if it is useless?
So instead of cancelling we called Trip.com and Thai Rent a Car service. It took them 2 hours, yes 2 hours of negotiation to change name so this guy at the desk would accept the resevation and give the reserved car!
Angry at the guy? Yes because he didnt care anything about the customer, not even giving us good advice or directing us to any helpdesk. We undestand; He couldnt care les because he followed the rule he said; otherwise Trip.com or Thai Rent a Car would sue his ass if the name was wrong and he would let us go with the car.
Just sad to see 3 departments (The Guy, Thai Rent a Car and Trip.com) pointing fingers at each other for 2 hours and us calling when in the end it took them 1 whole 1 minute to fix it.
