点评：Men love cars. And they love to visit car museums. Big or small. No matter, you never know what you'll see. Take the Edge Motor Museum in Memphis, for example. Located at 645 Marshall Avenue, in the same neighborhood as such iconic tourist attractions as Beale Street, Graceland and Sun Records, in the same building that was built in the 1920s as the Cherokee Motors automobile showroom and assembly plant, it is a small venue that displays 20 to 25 vehicles at a time. Open from 10:30 to 5 Monday through Friday, 11 to 3 on Saturday and noon to 4 on Sunday, the museum tracks the cultural, economic, political and technological trends that helped to mold the cars into a reflection of the era. It has displayed a number of unique vehicles, including Doris Day's Muntz Jet, a 1949 Crosley Hotshot that was the first car to win the 12 hours of Sebring, a Glasspar G2 and a 1962 Shark Roadster. As someone who once owned a classic bachelor/muscle car, a 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix 429 High Output with three deuces and four on the floor, I was genuinely interested with a dozen iconic sports cars from the post-war United States to the 1970s, including Corvettes and Lamborghinis and Thunderbirds. Sorry, no Ferraris. Also on display were a 1929 Ford Model A Speedster, 1926 Duesenberg Model A, 1961 Shark, 1958 Thor, 1959 Devin Salerno Special, 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster, 1938 Delahaye Pontheon and 2005 Ford GT.
