Lake Life Boat Rentals的点评
点评：Boat rentals on Deep Creek Lake are plentiful, finding one that checks all the boxes is a little more trying.
Lake Life Boat Rental has a precise, attractive web site that outlines most of the cost associated with its crafts. Renting from a company that assured me the most current model from a very prominent location was important to the family of 22 that would end up using the boat. Informative associates were available by phone or email to answer any question I had either before or after renting from them. Of course, pages of waivers needed to be signed off on before you set foot on the dock.
The entire staff I met from check in to return were pleasant and informed, every person I met all appeared to be high school students on summer jobs. The boat we rented was in perfect condition, all the included features worked for the entire time it was in our possession, what more could you ask for. Well, I hadn’t rented a boat in a number of years and the price came as a bit of a shock to me as did the cost per gallon of gas to fill the boat.
If you rent months before your visit to DCL, Lake Life Boat will charge your required credit card the day you approve the contract in my case six months prior to my visit, six months before I even walked into their establishment, not a fair or desirable policy but at that point I didn’t know it was happening and had no choice once I did (must have missed that in the fine print somewhere) Putting a hold on my card until I actually came to rent the boat would have been more desirable but given the roughly $2400 the three day rental costs I can imagine the renters that may not have available credit at pick-up would be disappointing for both parties at that time. Minus one star.
All in all, a smooth operation for visitors to Deep Creek to rent a boat for the vacation, thanks.
