Excellent Au Co and Bhaya service and experience

点评：We had booked with the Au Co, a 3-day, 2-night cruise, but were informed the week before the tour that, as we were the only booking on that large boat, they had to cancel the tour...BUT... instead, they offered us a private tour on the Bhaya Legend 1. This was fabulous!!!! Credit to the company for not leaving us high and dry but rearranging things so that we had the most marvellous experience, from check-in to departure - the staff were excellent and we felt very special. Special shout out to our "butler/tour guide" Tien, and Happy, the food and beverage attendant, as well as the others on the boat, who made it a great tour.
If you do get to do a cruise, the Legend boats (1 berth that we enjoyed and the 3 berth another option) - you get personalised service, a very high standard of food service, great excursion options and time to relax and just enjoy the surroundings.
Value for money - the original tour included transfers to/from Hanoi and cost us US$850 for the two of us, what we got for no additional cost was priceless. We enjoyed several kayaking trips, a visit to a traditional fishing village, cave tours and time to swim at a private beach. Not too busy, but plenty to do and see.
The areas we visited were not too busy; there are lots of other tours around, but many are day trips, so the evenings are quiet, and we didn't feel overwhelmed by mass tourism at all.
