Beautiful Setting, But Overpriced and Underwhelming Experience

点评：We booked this experience with high expectations given the £125 per head price point, but unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed.
The Good
The location itself is a lovely woodland setting - you can't fault the natural beauty of the setting. The starter was also well-prepared and enjoyable.
The Not So Good:
For £125 per person, we expected a premium dining experience, but what we received felt more like a basic meal with a hefty price tag. The cost only included drinks on arrival, which was surprising given the overall price.
The main course was particularly disappointing - a very ordinary serving of lamb with plain potatoes and a few vegetables. No sauce, no creative presentation, nothing that justified the premium pricing. It felt like something you might get at a standard pub for a fraction of the cost.
The "authentic experience" we were promised also fell flat. Finding a large plastic Connect Four game rather undermined any sense of authenticity we were hoping for.
Overall:
While the location is lovely, the food quality and overall experience simply don't match the premium pricing. At £125 per head, we expected something special - creative cuisine, exceptional service, and a truly memorable experience. Unfortunately, it felt like we were paying unto their bank account rather than a complete dining experience.
Would I recommend? Not really. I think it's very disappointing with the potential to be much more.
