点评：I recently visited Baylham Farm on a rainy weekday, and while I had some fun moments, overall, the experience didn’t meet my expectations.
We arrived on a particularly wet day, and parking was the first challenge. The sign for the main car park was quite far from the farm entrance—especially considering the weather. I parked nearby, thinking it was an overflow area, but when I asked at the farm shop, I was bluntly told to move my car because it wasn’t allowed. I understood, but I wish the staff had been more empathetic, given that the main car park was flooded and there were no other visitors around and we where the only ones there .
Once we got inside (£22 for two adults), we started with the sheep, which was genuinely lovely to see. However, after that, there wasn’t much else. Many animals seemed to be sheltering from the rain, which is understandable, but when we asked about the rabbits and small animals that the website had advertised, we were told they don’t come out on weekdays.
I’ve worked at farms before (like Jimmy’s Farm), and there were always activities or experiences to make rainy days enjoyable. Here, it felt like we’d paid to see just the sheep. If you’re planning to visit on a rainy weekday, I’d recommend checking in advance about what’s available, as the experience was far more limited than I expected.
As well as this the only thing open was the shop (where the blunt staff member was), the restaurant area was shut and no one there. I will hope to return on a sunny day to see if there is a chance in experience
