What a lovely little place
Handa Island Wildlife Reserve的点评
点评：After reading reviews we decided to visit. We didn’t arrive until around 1230pm. The car park was full but the staff showed us where we could park safely on the grass opposite the car park. It is CASH only for the ferry. We knew this is advance from researching but be aware of this.
The staff were efficient at organising the ferry and transported us safely to the island. It took around 10 minutes to get to Handa.
We were greeted by the ground staff who gave us a safety talk in the information centre. The walk itself is around 6km and a laid out path. You cannot get lost as you just follow the path. I thought this was really well maintained and the majority of the walk (especially when it’s wet) will keep you on a wooden path. The different stopping points are shown on the map you are provided with. We took our lunch and chose a nice spot to eat it. You are advised not to stray from the path to keep you safe from the wild birds however there are a couple of rocks along the way that you can sit for lunch. The scenery was spectacular and the walk took us around 2 hours. It filled in the day perfectly.
