奥尔顿塔水上乐园的点评
点评：Was very disappointed with Splash Landings Hotel and pool, took my own children 22 years ago, but stayed in the Alton Towers Hotel, so took my granddaughter last weekend and was so disappointed.
I can honestly say it didn't look like it had even had a lick of paint in the last 22 years.
Had our evening meal in The Alton Towers hotel restaurant, which was slightly better décor wise, but the fact that you couldn't get a tea or coffee after your meal in the restaurant was bazaar, to say the least. And also the fact that there was no toilets within the restaurant, I had to leave our meal unattended to take my 5yr old granddaughter up the flight of stairs across the landing and into the toilets there.
It was also the same thing in Splash Landings Hotel when we were in the bar having lunch the toilets were not there. Now, while I acknowledge that this would not be such a problem if there were two adults, surely sometimes there are vistors like us with only one.
Staff were lovely and helpful at times and the bedroom was basic but lovely and clean, so that was a plus.
There Pool changing rooms were very smelly and sorry but all in all will not return. Certainly not value for money.
