Disappointing visit - won’t be returning
奥尔顿塔水上乐园的点评
点评：We decided to visit the water park on the day due to other family members going for our nieces birthday. We paid £75 in total for 2 adults and a child and our youngest son was free.
When we arrived the outdoor area of the pool which equates to almost a third of the park was closed. We presumed this may be due to it raining so used the inside areas first however the outdoor area remained closed for the whole 2.5 hours of our visit. When we asked we were told it was due to being off peak and the summer holidays ending (for local schools) which we were shocked about as it gave no reference to this on the website. It was also the last week of the summer holidays at this point so we felt pretty annoyed that if this was the case the price hadn’t reflected it.
Spoke to customer services who basically said if you read the t&cs ‘all outdoor slides are subject to availability’. Fine in principle but when you are paying on the day and it didn’t say online that the outdoor area was closed I would expect some compensation as it is not just one slide it is a almost a third of the whole park.
Positives: The changing facilities and the pool itself was relatively clean. We didn’t struggle to get a locker or a changing room for our family.
Like other reviews I would agree the pools were fairly cold other than the hot tub area which was nice. There are minimal slides indoors and our son had done them in the first 15 minutes so had our family not been there it would have been quite boring.
Safe to say we won’t be returning and won’t be recommending if you can’t guarantee being able to use the outside as the park is not big and for the price it is definitely not value for money.

可以肯定地说，我们不会再来了，如果不能保证能用室外滑梯，我们也不会推荐这里，因为公园不大，而且就这个价格来说，绝对不划算。
