点评：I went to Jaisalmer as a solo traveler and I wanted to try a half day tour in the desert as I didn't have much time. I couldn't have made a better choice. We were supposed to do the tour on a Sunday but due to change of plans I asked Raj to do it on Saturday and he was enough flexible to accept it. Raj's tour was exactly what I was asking for. Authentic and personalized far from the loud, crowded and very touristic experiences that are usually offered in the area and that was easy to find. He picked me up on a jeep very near from my hotel and after adding 2 more passengers (a father with his daughter) and his colleagues, we headed to the magical Thar desert. We started the tour by visiting an abandoned village near to Jaisalmer and then made a short stop to a lake and Raj's village which were both near to the first location. The landscapes were simply astonishing. As the time was passing by, the experience was getting even better. We started going deeper into the desert and approx 1 hour before sunset our camel ride was expecting for us. We did a camel ride for about 45 minutes (that time was just perfect as a camels back is not the most comfortable place to sit in, especially when it moves!) and we made a few short stops on the way for some necessary photos. The temperature was very pleasant and the sun in December was not too hot to burn us. We finished the ride at some incredible sand dunes where we stayed for dinner. The dinner was made by Raj and his colleagues (also his 11 year old nephew was there and helped in everything!) and it was absolutely delicious..typical Indian food at a slow fire with traditional recipients. Adding to this, the moonlight which was so bright in the dark desert I couldn't have imagined a better scenery to end this tour. After 8 hours of tour (including the times needed to move from one place to the other) they brought us back to our hotels again on the same jeep. I've seen some amazing landscapes during my entire trip in India but this was likely the best one taking into account the whole experience. I can't be more thankful to Raj for this unforgettable tour. It will be certainly one day to remember for the rest of my life!
