点评:I took a day trip to Sark and found the island very rustic but beautiful in its nature. I noted that the ferry did not really cater for disabled people and there are a lot of steps to be negotiated If like in the case of my late wife who was wheelchair bound there are no ramps/lifts to help to board /un-board the ferry?Once onto the island a tractor/trailer gets you up a very steep tarmaced hill . at the top of the hill you could use a pony and cart to have a tour round the island ,Walk round or hire a cycle. All the roads are just dirt/stone track ok if dry but muddy when wet. There is one section of the high street called the Avenue about 2/300 yards long with the pub other shops cafes post office village hall etc and that is it apart from houses The weather was sunny and dry would not like to visit in winter or on a wet day. There is no street lighting so after dark you would need a torch.
