A nice surprise

点评：This was a first time visit for my 14y/o grandson. His favorite wakeboard place in Deerfield Beach was closed and he wanted to try this one since there are great reviews of the Shark Wake Park on Instagram. We went through the Informed consent and safety protocol, then he got his vest, helmet and the board. We were informed only one section of the lake, the beginner, was open and the more advanced jumps can be used only on the weekend. A huge disappointment to my grandson, nothing like this is mentioned on the website. However, after an hour of wakeboarding with the beginners, the advanced section opened up, a nice surprise, and he was able try out the challenging ramps. At the beginner section, there was an attendant that provided some very useful tips, the lady at the advanced section did not provide any advice at all. I felt the number of ropes constantly dropping off the cable system into the water that had to be fished out and than reattached was odd and unusually high. We were not able to buy any food here, there is an ice box with several kinds of ice cream at the rental store, and a mostly Gatorade dispensing machine. Overall, my grandson was very pleased, he felt the equipment was more professional than his familiar park and he loved the challenge of the bigger size of the ramps and rails. He had a lot of fun here and I am sure we will be back.
