One can reach Manasa Devi temple by a 3 km trek route which has total 786 steps or by Ropeway services provided by Udankhatola. Travel time is 2 minutes. You can buy tickets for one way or two way. There is also combo ticket available for both Manasa devi and Chandi Devi Ropeway including transportation between two temples. We have booked the same which saves your time.

2. It is believed that the present temple which we are visiting was built by Maharaja Gopal Singh of Mani Majra during the period of 1811 - 1815 A.D.
3. The inner shrine of the Manasa Devi temple has two deities enclosed within where one has eight arms and the other one is three headed.
4. It is said that anyone who visits this temple and has a strong wish doesn't leave without visiting the holy tree which is located within temple premises. Devotees come there to tie strands to the tree to fulfill their wishes. Once they are fulfilled by the grace of the goddess, they come back to unravel the knot.
5. It is said that goddesses Manasa and Chandi, the two form of goddess Parvati always reside close to each other. Here also same way both temples are located in near by location. one more example is Panchakula of Haryana where Chandi Mandir is located near by in Chandigarh city.
