点评：We really tried to enjoy it, but such chaos here. Of all of the beautiful beach towns in the world, this wasn't it. The entire town is under construction. A quick Google search on the sewage content will keep you out of the water at Santa Teresa Beach ("high levels of fecal coliforms") . And none of the other beaches around were anything special. The amount of trash everywhere was a disappointment. We spent 5 nights here and never found the appeal. The surfing looks great, but other than a nice sunset, this place had little to offer. The restaurants and shops are nice, but everything is expensive. It's fun to rent ATVs and cruise around. But they definitely add to the general chaos.
If you're looking to relax, I'd find somewhere else. Or at least keep your beach expectations low.
On the plus side, it is beautiful here. We saw howler monkeys from our air bnb. Giant iguanas, so many butterflies and an abundance of beautiful plants.
