For context, we travelled back from Cyprus and our flight was delayed, (pretty common occurance).
So, as instructed by our outgoing drop off driver we called as we were just about to collect our cases. Then went to the pick up point as instructed at Manchester T2. One by one every passenger was collected by other taxi firms from all over (as we couod see the signs on the vehicles) about 10 mins later we were alone in the early hours of the morning. It took our taxi 1hr 5 mins to arrive after the reminder phone call i had made to the depot which is unacceptable and got the excuse that our flight was delayed. Now the driver was a lovely guy (Markos). But this didnt really ofset having to wait.
My question would be (a company that specialises in airport pick ups and even mentions in its mission statement that delays are not a problem) , why doesnt it have or use a simple app to track flights and potential delays. This is your job and every other passenger on that plane (you know, the delayed one) was collected within 15 mins.
To cap it all off, following us now cancelling our future booking with them due to this poor service my wife then gets an abusive company owner on the phone giving her grief.
