点评:I heard about this attraction before going there. When touring Bonifacio we had 1,5h free time which I choose to take the stairs. The price is not high and worth doing it. I am not a well-trained person, I walk a lot, but going up and down on stairs or from the hills/mountains pushes me a lot. I hesitated, but the curiosity and the beauty made me do it. They equip you with a helmet, but for the shoes and cloths you have to be prepared. Good sport shoes and trousers are needed and the steps are high and some of them slippery. Steps have a railing which is helpful. You can go only first down and then up. Down there is no other way to get out except climbing the steps up, so if you consider is to much effort, don’t do it. They say it takes you one hour to do the stairs both ways which is true is you have a bit of training. Even going down puts a bit of pressure on your knees, but going up is harder. For going up I helped myself with some tricks to my mind – counting the steps; first stop after 60 steps, after that it become harder so I stopped to relax a bit after 40 steps. Stopping helps you, but is difficult for the others to pass, 2 people on same step is max and not everywhere. Last steps up are narrower. But I don’t regret I have done it, as it was so beautiful.
