点评：I visited here as part of a visit to Wells in general including the Cathedral. I honestly didn't know what to make of the Bishop's palace, as a building it's quite impressive set in some fantastic grounds. Surrounded by a moat, you enter into a large front garden and make your way to the main entrance. I have to admit that I wasn't too impressed with the interior, with the exception of the undercroft. The grounds however were amazing! The gardens were lovely and there is a walk around the outside of the wall alongside of the moat. This will afford you a fantastic view of the cathedral, (see photos).
Would I go again, I doubt it as there wasn't enough of a draw for me to visit again. That said, it's definitely worth a look if your in the area.
