Namgyal Treks & Tours的点评
点评：Me and my family from Odisha, India planned to visit some places of Sikkim in the last week of March without any prior idea abouut the place. Hence, made a lot of enquiry about the place, tour operators and at last finalised to visit north Sikkim. By looking into the previous reviewes, we selected Namgyal Treak & Tours for this trip. While making this descission we had a number of discussion with Mr. Tashi (Owner of Namgyal Treak and Tour) and Mr. Pradumn (Staff of Namgyal Treak and Tour), who never got irritated and suggested us a fisible ittenary to finalise the trip. As per plan we reached Gangtok on 24/03/23, Met Mr. Tashi, got a small briffing about the places and about the things to be done & not to be done during the visit to Gurudongmar lake. During the trip we followed all the advices given to us, still then some of us fell sick due to high altitude and unwillingly cancelled our trip from half the way to Gurudongmar lake. Similarly, in the other day due to heavy snow fall the roads got fully covered with snow hence could not visit yumtham velly and zero point but enjoyed a lot over the snow covered roads and nearby lands. The snow deposited over the leaves of the trees was an unique scene for us to be photographed.
Over the entire process of planning, tour and helth issues, the support of Mr. Tashi is highly appreciable. His phone call on envery evening to enquire about the bording facilities, food quality, vehicle and driver support enhances the self confidence in an unknown area. It became more satisfying when i received the phone call from our driver (Mr. Mani) and Mr. Tashi after we reached our native to enquire about the return journey.
The only thing i want to suggest to Mr. Tashi is to provide the detailed location map of the lodges/ hotels insted of giving the name of the hotel only. We faced little difficulty in searching the hotels even after following google map. Further, the detailed food items to be served by the hotels at different locations should be given to the tourists before starting of the tour instead of giving the details as Veg/Non veg only. The resturent of the hotels, are taking adventages of this and providing only egg curry if it is written as Non- Veg.
Finally, I will suggest every one to plan their trip to north Sikkim in the month of April or May instead of March to avoid the possibility of rain or snow fall.
