点评：With 3 adults and one 11 year old we were mainly going for the child. I expected an educational, interactive experience, especially for £11.50 per adult (no OAP discount) and £7.00 per child. An extra experience was available at £3.00 each, which we declined. Understandably the attraction has to cater for many different childrens age groups, but, nothing felt coherent. Digital 'games' weren't really linked to other exhibits, and pictures were really difficult to identify. The wind turbine didn't seem to have any purpose (no 'sails to test), the winding electrical game had to be held by an adult as it was rocking when turned, and many other games seemed tired and broken. The upstairs art exhibition was interesting (but a little odd), but seemed to be mainly promoting what could be brought in the shop. Overall the area feels tired and in need of a good clean, tidy up and revamp. The gramophone exhibit doesnt really work well, and many things feel sort of broken. Very sad that this was a special (expensive) afternoon out, that felt like a bit of a rip off. Really needs a good rethink and revamp for me to recommend to others. A real (expensive) shame.
