点评：With patient collaboration, Terrace Uganda Safaris compiled a 16-day safari that included the major game parks, and chimpanzee and gorilla trekking. Terrace has the knowledge and experience, as well as the focus on safety and comfort, to deliver an excellent experience.
We had the good fortune of traveling the first few days of our safari with Mrs. Immaculate, the owner of Terrace, who was checking on lodges and updating her extensive ground knowledge. Our cheerful guide, Latiff, worked long hours to clean the vehicle, keep it stocked with bottled water and snacks and to assure that he was punctual for every daily departure and game drive.
The Terrace staff knew the Uganda Wildlife Guides and Rangers who accompanied us in various parks and provided expert answers to all of our questions.
If you are an experienced traveler in Africa, do not expect luxury lodges in Uganda. Given the price jump from basic accommodations to "best", you may want to consider some of the more simple options that Terrace can recommend. In terms of national parks, we found Murchinson Falls NP to be disappointing because of the new asphalt main road and wide gravel roads built to provide access to the oil drilling operations in the park. The Falls were magnificent but we experienced limited game viewing in Murchinson.
Visitors to Uganda considering self-drive safari should instead seek an experienced company like Terrace to avoid mishaps on poorly marked roads in game parks. Parks do not provide park road maps.
When flying into Uganda, a wide range of accommodation choices are available in Entebbe, allowing you to avoid the congestion of Kampala.
We were very pleased that we chose Terrace as our safari company in Uganda and thoroughly enjoyed every day.
