点评：This review is just of the Cafe /restaurant not the leisure park .Came for with friends for a society Christmas dinner so choices were made from a set menu. The food was ok nothing outstanding. The brie and cranberry tart was very disappointing whilst the pastry was good the cranberry filling was rather over sweet and there was rather a lack of brie with just one thin 3cm square slice placed in the middle of the tart. it really needed another couple of slices at least. The honey and orange glazed salmon had little evidence of the glaze and the crushed garlic new potatoes were a little dry, the asparagus was fine though some additional vegetables would have been nice. The chocolate orange torte I think was bought in not made on premises it had a sponge base rather than a pastry one it was ok. Overall portion sizes were a little on the small side for the money unless you opted for the pate to start which had more than enough pate but not enough bread to go with it and ordered traditional christmas dinner or the lamb shank.
Staff were polite and courteous and efficient. One or our party could not stay long so the course she had ordered but could not stay for was made up as a take out for he. The room was fine but a little sparsely decorated to say that it was Christmas.
