点评：TL;DR Fantastic well equipped and luxurious boats. An excellent company to rent from, with great communication and some of the best customer service we have come across.
We highly recommend Cafwin Cruises for narrowboat holidays.

We have taken quite a few narrowboat holidays in the past, renting boats from different companies depending on where we wanted to cruise, and what was available at the time we wanted to go. We looked around for a company offering boats in the area to go around the Avon Ring, and came upon Cafwin Cruises. Reading the website, we were immediately taken with the boats, and the price, which was better than some much bigger companies, for a boat the appeared to be much better fitted out.
We are glad we did - the boats are excellent. Luxurious, completely kitted out with everything you might want, from the dishwasher, to a tin opener that actually works! Bluetooth speaker for music from your phone, TV with ROKU (both in the saloon and the bedroom), central heating, and a fully fitted bathroom with waterfall shower.
I got in touch with Catherine by email, and she responded within the hour - already a step up from some... and this is a theme throughout the booking process and rental period. Communications are quick and informative, and Catherine does everything to ensure you have everything you need.
We booked for 2 weeks in October. Later in the year than we would usually go, but this time we wanted a quiet period on the canals. Catherine has created an online information set/guidebook/handover/inventory, with all the information you need, and a virtual handover, so that when you get to the marina, you already know where everything is on the boat.
The physical handover will be conducted by either Catherine, or by John, the mechanic who maintains the boats. He took us, and is very thorough. Despite our previous experience, we learnt a few new things from John. You are also taken out with either one of them for the first three locks, which are just outside the marina. This serves two purposes, one; you get the benefit of their experience if you are new to narrowboats, and two; they get to make sure you are competent.
In the end, we could not do the Avon Ring, as the river levels on the Avon and Severn were too high, so we went around the Warwickshire Ring. An easy trip over two weeks, with time to spare to sight see (a visit to Cadbury's was definitely on the cards!)
I can't recommend Cafwin Cruises highly enough. The whole experience is slick, from the initial enquiry through booking, collection and the return of the boat at the end.
