Fantastic Historic Property And Brewery
Inverness Brewing的点评
点评：Inverness made for a great afternoon/evening for the 6 of us with it's beautiful rolling hills location along with a nice lineup of beers and some very good food from the food trailer. Located on a farm that's over a century old, with an attractive manor house in the distance, and beautiful barns loaded with historic pieces that have been turned into wonderful backdrops to sit and enjoy their beer. The swinging bar is fun once you realize what is happening and the staff was fantastic and full of information. You could spend an hour or so just walking around looking at all the character of the place on the grounds and in all the outbuildings.
We enjoyed the large selection and started out with a flight finding out that the Ultra Light (3.8%) was just that, too light. We liked the Quite Frankly Lager, How About Them Birds and the Jockey Juice IPA, but I liked the Local Grapefruit IPA that was not too hoppy and stayed with that. The Silk Pale Ale was OK as was the Monkton Madness. We also liked the fact that 5oz prices were aligned with the 16oz prices and not higher like many breweries do.
The food trailer menu offered a surprisingly wide variety of food, and we found the pulled pork sandwich fantastic, large and on a nice roll. The Old Bay wings were top notch, cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. When we arrived at 4, we had the place to ourselves, however, there was a steady build throughout the evening with a nice mix of families, parties on the lawn and guests of all ages. I certainly look forward to a return trip to Inverness.
