A Never to be Forgotten Trip
季节之旅的点评
点评：We had a trip of a lifetime with Season Tours. Tyffi showed us around Reykjavik for the first few days. Then we were off to the countryside with Gunnsi.
In Reykjavik not only were we able to see such sites as the Historical Museum and the Perlan but when our whale watching tour canceled Tyffi came up with a great alternative- the Hòlavallakirkjugarõur Cemetery. There we wentlooking for the grave of the ‘ guardian spirit’, Guorun Oddsdòttir. Sounds a little strange, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip. And he also took us to a local ice cream shop, Ohm Ohm, which was very yummy. Those are two experiences that we would’ve never had if we had not used Season Tours.
After that, we were off to a tour of the countryside with Gunnsi. He took us to spectacular sites in the Golden Circle, and along the South Coast; too many to list. His knowledge of the history and geological features of Iceland added a dimension to our trip that we would’ve otherwise not experienced. And on top of that Gunnsi regaled us with stories of Vikings and trolls🧌, which were thoroughly enjoyable.
Overall, it was an exceptional trip and just downright so much fun. I would definitely do it again. (And that is my highest compliment!). Thank you for a great trip.
