点评：Just returned home from a float fishing trip with About Trout guides Kyle McCallum (three days) and John Kelley (one day). This was our second multi-day trip with Kyle in less than a year. Both he and John epitomize what perfect guides should be. They are experts at reading the San Juan, regardless of conditions. They put my partner and me on fish regularly throughout the day, and both of us broke our personal best records at least three times. But having hired many guides during a lifetime of fishing, I know catching fish is only one part of eight hours on the river. Great guides are never intrusive or overbearing. Both Kyle and John gave us excellent input and advice when we asked for it; otherwise, they stepped back and let us fish. Both have amazing people skills. We all shared personal stories and engaged in continual humorous banter. Both told us, "It was a delight to have you on my boat." Kyle and John, you can be sure that it was a delight for us just to get to spend time with you. We are already planning our third trip! — Randy Frank
