点评：Pilgrim Tours put together a first rate package for us. We purchased the tour and airfare from Pilgrim, but opted to go on our own for the travel insurance. All aspects went without a hitch. Our primary guide and motor coach driver were first class. The other “local” guides we had were equally knowledgeable and understandable. (One couple in our group on their third trip to Israel said that the Via Dolorosa trek was not the best experience they’ve had, but otherwise felt that this was their best trip.) All four hotels were very nice; and, our rooms were upper floors on the scenic side of the buildings. The motor coach used looked new; and, since our driver was Arab, we didn’t have to move to a different coach to enter Bethlehem. This tour is jam packed and requires a lot of walking, much on uneven surfaces. So, don’t expect a lot of free time and prepare ahead of the trip by walking two or three miles a day. The only two nits I have are the stop at the Nativity store where the level of high pressure sales tactics were exceeded only by the high prices of the merchandise and that most lunches were a choice only between falafel or chicken schnitzel.
