Manager needs training - not respectful with children

点评：Absolute disgrace.
We visited Husk Distillery late afternoon with a group of friends and young children (ages 2 to 4½). The outdoor garden/lawn area is presented as family- and kids-friendly. The kids were simply playing with a small amount of soil that had spilled next to a pot — roughly 200g of dirt in a garden. Nothing more.
Manager Nicky stormed over and launched straight at the children. She was extremely rude, aggressive and intimidating. She told the toddlers they had to clean everything up and that what they had done was “disrespectful” to the staff and to the worms in the pot, and that was time for them to go home. The children froze. Some started crying. A complete stranger berating and scaring 2- to 4-year-olds is completely unacceptable.
Any professional would have spoken to the parents first. Instead Nicky continued the lecture and forced both the children and the parents to clean the tiny bit of soil. The whole clean-up took about three minutes. Even while we were cleaning she remained aggressive and disrespectful toward the adults as well.
I have worked in hospitality for years. Leaving a dirty nappy on a table is disrespectful. A handful of garden soil next to a pot in an outdoor kids area is not. Treating little children this way is.
Nicky’s behaviour was shocking, unprofessional and completely out of proportion. Intimidating toddlers and making them cry over a bit of dirt is not “customer service.” It is a failure of basic human decency.
We will never return and we strongly advise any family with young children to stay away until this kind of management attitude is fixed.

尼基的行为令人震惊，极不专业，而且完全超出了常理范围。吓唬学步期的小孩，仅仅因为一点脏污就把他们弄哭，这根本算不上是“客户服务”。这是基本人性与教养的缺失。
我们绝不会再光顾，也强烈建议所有带幼童的家庭在这种管理态度得到纠正之前切勿前来。
