点评：Do NOT take abhishegam through temple priests. They charged me INR 7,000 and promised me, my wife and my son to sit in front. But on the actual day, I was standing, my son was in row 5, my wife was in row 6. After completing abhishegam, Sri Ram, one of the temple priests who conducted the abhishegam himself demanded me to pay INR 7,000. The charges if you do not sit in front is INR 4,000. I agreed to pay INR 4,000, however Sri Ram claims that I am lying to him saying that I was not placed in the front. This is ridiculous as I would not lie, plus Sri Ram, who is a fraud priest, is cheating me by saying I sat in front. His father, Nataraja, is one of the chiefs in the temple, claims that I was offered a chair but refused. All of this is not true, and all the priests working there are cheating the public, especially foreigners like myself. Moreover, if you go through the proper channel via the temple office, registration is INR 500, whereas abhishegam itself is INR 1000, amounting to INR 1500 (regardless of where you sit).
