Lagg Distillery的点评
点评：If you are debating whether to make the trip over to Lagg Distillery on the Isle of Arran, let me settle it for you: go.
From the moment you arrive, you are treated to breathtaking views and a truly stunning location. The natural beauty surrounding the distillery is worth the journey alone, but the experience itself completely steals the show. I received a wonderfully warm and genuine welcome that immediately set the tone for the day.
My tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing the history of whisky production on the island and craft with real passion rather than just reciting a script. Unlike other tours where you wait until the very end to taste anything, I was treated to excellent whisky samples throughout the entire tour. It's worth noting that while the whisky here may be young, the quality and flavour profile are already absolutely exceptional.
To wrap things up, the on-site shop is incredibly well-stocked with a fantastic selection of bottles at great prices.
Honestly, having visited "the other" famous whisky island, this was a far better experience all around. At just £25, this tour is an absolute steal and easily the best value for money I’ve ever found. I thoroughly recommend this distillery and cannot praise it enough. I will absolutely be back again next year!
