Apperently it is a fun experience (from hearsay)

点评：Apparently, the whale watching was a fantastic experience with a very experienced guide on board, according to my partner and son...
I write "apparently", because I had injured my lower back in a fall on another island a few days earlier, so I didn't dare board the boat. People with back problems are also advised against this (see website). However, when I personally reported this to the office two days before the excursion, asking to be rebooked on another non-boat tour, they couldn't help me. The woman behind the counter really did her best, but her boss also told her over the phone that it wasn't possible. I could go on another tour at the last minute, but then I had to book it for all three of us (partner, son, and myself) at full price. Free cancellation is possible, but falling of becoming ill needs to be on a week notice. If you fall or become ill within those 7 days before the activity starts, you're out of luck and lose your money. The sad thing is, I didn't even want a refund, just a different tour...
But as I mentioned above ... apparently it's a fun activity.
