点评：This was the most rewarding guided tour we've ever experienced and could not recommend it more highly.
Paul and Joanne were outstandingly welcoming and warm hosts. Exploits Islands is such a beautiful location and the views out of our bedroom window will stay with us forever. We were delighted with our accommodations, which were clean, comfortable and charmingly decorated. Joanne prepared our delicious meals and we enjoyed them over engaging conversation in their home and on the shore. Paul and Joanne seemed to us heartfeltly eager to share their home with travellers and to offer them the best experience of Newfoundland to be had. Conversation was easy and entertaining. Thanks to Paul's professional experience, we learned so much about the natural and social history of the area.
Kayaking around the islands was spectacular. The scenery was beautiful and we witnessed countless eagles, osprey, whales, and capelin. Dirk Muir was as knowledgeable, experienced, and genuine a guide as one could ask for, able to tell us about the explosion of sea life beneath the surface of the water as well as the flora and human history of the islands. We sincerely loved our time with him kayaking, hiking, and chatting.
I could relate countless moments that we cherish from this trip, but suffice it to say that this is a very special opportunity to spend time with a remarkable group of people and gain an intimate view of a stand-out location, not to be missed.
